  type b's CD Rom for ebm-papst wins Best Environmental Marketing Campaign at the Cooling Industry Awards 2005.

Our client ebm-papst, the Chelmsford based manufacturer of fans, motors and controllers, achieved one of the highest accolades in the Cooling Industry at a glitzy gathering in London last night. The Cooling Industry Awards celebrates excellence in environmentally friendlier cooling.

worked with ebm-papst to identify the fact that clients needed a leading manufacturer to explain the new EC legislation on energy consumption and UK government guidelines for reducing carbon emissions. type b helped reposition ebm-papst as a knowledge centre on environmentally friendly use of fan technology with the launch of the CD Rom which doubled up as a direct response mailer. It simply asked the question to their clients 'Are you heading in the right direction?'.

The judging panel commented 'a highly focussed campaign, designed to stimulate the adoption of its energy saving fans. the CD-based initiative was designed for end users and consultants - and achieved a huge impact. This was an excellent campaign, clearly thought out and well executed. It demonstrates the power of effective marketing in promoting energy saving technology.'
