When Social Enterprise East Midlands (SEEM) approached us with a view to producing a tri-lingual CD Rom to showcase the work of more than 20 charities, we knew it would be a challenge. In addition each of the charities wanted their own video produced to highlight the work they were doing in their community. Disability access was required for all areas of the CD Rom.
type b co-ordinated the entire project liaising with the 20 charities, filming in 27 locations and involving over 100 people. The result was nearly an hour of edited footage.
The final CD Rom contained the videos alongside over 700 screens of content in 3 languages. All built in such a way that we were able to produce a ‘web-friendly’ version at marginal cost, thereby widening the audience who could access it.
The campaign has raised awareness of SEEM s work and that of the charities under their umbrella, and will form a key part for thier funding application in 2006.
